The FPS, keeping with the spirit of the series, maintains a pixel art graphical style referring to retro games. II Absolute Zero is a first-person shooter representing the so-called “boomer shooter” genre. I’m just dissatisfied, and wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the stipulations of bidding/buying from them. Could you imagine paying several hundred dollars, it not work, and you possibly be out all of that money. But I’m glad I didn’t spend hundreds on something, like one of their Roombas, for example. They literally told me that it was junk when I described the problem to them (it would turn on, but wouldn’t make any noise or shred anything.) I get that it’s only 24 bucks. Again, conveniently.) The original company couldn’t even help me, since I didn’t buy from them. It had to be over 25 dollars (I paid 24 conveniently), and it had to be within 5 days of the auction (I had it shipped to a closer location for me, so it was past that window. I notified them, and they told me I should have checked it at the pickup location, and they basically weren’t going to do anything. It was listed as “open box”, not damaged. I won an auction for a good paper shredder. Make sure that you understand that what you buy/win might not even work. Rest of the problems are absolutely there with a new one: trying to swipe left to view more items in the For You page shifts the entire page and not the desired row, unless you’re surgically precise with the speed you do the action. It would work for the most part but there were quirks: -tapping the phone icon in the search bar brings up a white screen and cancel button that locks the app -occasionally trying to change between saved keyword listings will cause the app the crash -on several occasions during an auction it would show me as the highest bidder up until the second the auction closed and then updated to reflect I was outbid with no warning and end the auction -items based on your watchlist section would include items from locations not in my stored warehouses too far to obtain So far after updating, only the last item seems better, though I haven’t completed enough auctions to know if the outbid update works. Remember also, their item condition rating system is a joke and if you try to ask for support for a bad item, you’ll get their usual response basically stating there is no difference between like new, open box, or damaged…any of the three could be in literally any shape.Īpp used to be about 70% effective. But hey, who am I, right?! Just another complainer…just bid at your own risk. It’s extremely disappointing and over time, if they don’t start cleaning up their listing process, more and more customers are going to stop using them. I can only count on maybe one hand the number of accurately described items we’ve won, and we’ve likely bought over 100 items in the last 3 years…some have been major purchases too. Even the “like new” items don’t work or are missing pieces the majority of the time. As time has gone on, the likelihood that we’re bidding on and winning an item that is heavily used and non-working has increased drastically, and it’s really beginning to anger me. 80% of their listings have garbage descriptions because 80% of their workforce is lazy, so 80% of everything you purchases ends up reflecting all of these shortcomings. We started using Discount and their app several years back when they only had 3 locations I believe, but now it’s almost as if they’re too big for their own good. Used to be a solid liquidator…things change.
